Tara grew up in Vancouver, BC, where she spent her younger years dancing, playing sports, and enjoying the coast mountains. She received her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia, spending the first fifteen years of her career as a teacher. As a mature student, she returned to the University of British Columbia to complete her Masters of Occupational Therapy. In 2018, she and her family moved to Vernon and have been enjoying the lakes, mountains, and trails in the Okanagan and surrounding areas.
Tara worked as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including acute, long-term care, and community care in both Vancouver and Vernon. She enjoys supporting people in their goals to gain more meaningful activities in their lives that give them a sense of well-being, connection, and independence. She joined Progression Muscle Bone and Joint Clinic in 2021.
