Tara grew up in Vancouver, BC, where she spent her younger years dancing, playing sports, and enjoying the coast mountains.  Tara holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia. Since obtaining her master’s degree in 2016, she has worked in public health in acute, long-term care and community settings and more recently in private practice assisting clients with return to work, ergonomics, basic CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Treatment), PE (Prolonged Exposure Therapy), and planning and pacing.  She supports clients in work, leisure, and self-care-related goals and provides equipment and home recommendations to increase safety and independence.

Tara worked as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including acute, long-term care, and community care in both Vancouver and Vernon. She enjoys supporting people in their goals to gain more meaningful activities in their lives that give them a sense of well-being, connection, and independence. She joined Progression Muscle Bone and Joint Clinic in 2021.
