Tami graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology.   Her education focused primarily on exercise rehabilitation which in turn was the avenue that she pursued as a career. Tami has worked in several multi-disciplinary clinics providing exercise therapy, functional rehabilitation and education to a variety of clients.  She is a certified Exercise Specialist and also Matheson trained in Functional Testing.

After 10 years of doing hands on clinical work, she took her skills into Disability Management and worked for both WorkSafe BC and then Interior Health as a Case Manager and Disability Management Specialist.  This involved coordinating rehabilitation for injured workers, guiding and implementing durable return to work plans and providing education and advice to clients to assist them with a full recovery.  She also worked in a leadership role during this time providing training and education to her colleagues in the field of Disability Management.

Tami has a strong knowledge base and is very passionate about rehabilitation, disability management and the role they play in restoring individuals to a full, quality life.  Tami is currently leading our Osteoarthritis education sessions and continues to provide disability management services to a variety of clients at our clinic.

In her spare time, she is the mother of 2 and leads an active outdoor life where you will often find her running, hiking or mountain biking in Kalamalka Park.
