Nick grew up in the Lower Mainland and after finishing high school he attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology. He moved to Vernon in 2013 attracted to the Okanagan lifestyle and endless outdoor recreation the region has to offer. After working for Progression as a Kinesiologist, specializing in rehabilitation-based exercise programming, he felt it was time to advance his education in the field. He returned to the clinic with a Master of Physical Therapy from UBC in 2019. He draws on his previous experience working as a kinesiologist with emphasis on movement-based rehabilitation to ensure clients achieve the results they are working towards. His evidence-based treatment approach includes joint and soft tissue mobilization and exercise rehab therapy. He strives to empower his clients by providing them with the tools and education needed to create meaningful outcomes. From activities of daily living to competitive sport, he wants his clients to move easier, perform better and be more resilient.
Outside of the clinic Nick is well connected in the community through the local bike club and his participation in various sports including soccer and hockey. He can be found up on the hill in the winter or mountain biking in the summer.
Nick looks forward to developing his manual therapy skills through continued education to further help his patients reduce pain and maximize their mobility.
