Jamie completed his BSc, Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 1998, after completing a BSc, Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 1995. After focusing on sports rehabilitation early in his career, Jamie moved to the Okanagan in 1999 and began to focus on manual therapy and eventually hand therapy. In 2004 Jamie met the certification standards to become a Certified Hand Therapist, and has spent the last 15 years focused primarily on upper extremity rehabilitation. From major trauma and post-surgical rehabilitation to sport related injuries to degenerative and inflammatory joint conditions, Jamie loves the challenge and reward constantly presented by focusing on hand and upper extremity injuries. Throughout his career Jamie has worked extensively with injured workers and motorists, and embraces the challenge of returning clients to work, play, and everyday life.
Outside of work Jamie is very involved in the local lacrosse community as a player, executive, and coach of 3 active lacrosse playing children. Fishing, hunting, camping, and any outdoor pursuits fill the rest of any of his available time.
